HDFC Bank has announced a board meeting to review the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Advances under management grew 8.3% year-on-year to ₹27,423 billion, with period-end advances up 8%. Gross advances increased 6.7% YoY. Deposits surged 16.4% YoY to ₹26,580 billion, driven by a 22.1% jump in time deposits, while CASA deposits rose 6.1%. Period-end deposits grew 16.2%, with time deposits up over 20%. The bank securitised ₹33 billion in loans this quarter as part of its strategy.
