Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited — Important, 05-07-2025: Monthly Business Updates

Shyam Metalics has announced a board meeting to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year.

June sales volumes showed strong growth across key segments: CR Coil/Sheets volumes surged 37% MoM and 93% QoQ, though realizations remained mostly flat. HR Tube/Pipe volumes rose 25% MoM and 152% QoQ with realizations up 0.4% MoM and 7% QoQ. Aluminium Foil volumes gained 52% YoY, despite a 14% MoM dip; realizations were up 9% YoY. Speciality Alloys volume grew 10% YoY but realizations fell 10%; MoM volumes dropped 16%, with realizations rising 6%. Stainless Steel volumes declined 19% YoY and MoM, while realizations increased 3-4%. Pellet volumes eased 7% YoY and 36% MoM but jumped 57% QoQ; realizations dipped 2-10%. Carbon Steel volumes rose 6% YoY but fell 10.6% MoM and 9% QoQ; realizations slipped 4% MoM but increased 2% QoQ. Sponge Iron volumes declined 4-6% YoY/MoM with realizations down 7-14%. Pig Iron volumes decreased 12.6% MoM but grew 81% QoQ; realizations were largely stable. The new color-coated plant at Jamuria and blast furnace with sinter/coke oven are ramping up production.
