Magson Retail and Distribution Limited has announced a board meeting on to approve the acquisition of the business and assets of Magsons Supercentre, a Goa-based partnership operating 10 firm-owned and 2 franchise retail stores under ‘Magsons’ and ‘Champagne and Cigars - C&C’ brands. The deal, structured as a slump sale on a going concern basis, is valued at Rs. 30 Cr payable in multiple tranches. This acquisition enhances Magson’s retail footprint and product portfolio, leveraging Magsons Supercentre’s established presence with ~1.25 lakh customers and 20,000 SKUs across FMCG, liquor, and gourmet foods.
