Biocon Biologics has announced MHRA UK approval for its Denosumab biosimilars, Vevzuo® and Evfraxy®. Vevzuo® targets skeletal-related events in adults with advanced malignancies and giant cell tumor of bone, while Evfraxy® addresses osteoporosis and bone loss in postmenopausal women, men at fracture risk, and patients on long-term glucocorticoids. Clinical data confirm comparable safety and efficacy to the reference product. These approvals complement prior European Commission authorizations, expanding Biocon’s biosimilars footprint across the UK and EU markets.
