Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA), a leading integrated ferrochrome producer in India, reported consolidated revenue of ₹2564.57 crore, down from ₹2780.17 crore, with a profit after tax of ₹379.32 crore versus ₹344.34 crore in the prior year. EBITDA stood at ₹530.51 crore. Ferrochrome production was 260,190 tonnes, slightly lower than last year, while chrome ore raising hit a record 701,863 tonnes. The company declared interim dividends totaling ₹15 per share and recommended a final dividend of ₹5 per share, making total FY25 payout ₹20 per share. A greenfield expansion project to add 100,000 tonnes capacity at Kalinganagar is underway, expected to commission by mid-2026, alongside a 120 KLPD ethanol plant targeting 2026 commissioning. IMFA signed long-term PPAs for 110 MW hybrid renewable energy, expected online by June 2026, reducing its carbon footprint by ~6.12 lakh tonnes CO2e annually. The company’s balance sheet remains strong and largely debt-free, with net worth rising to ₹2322 crore. Key management changes include appointment of Mr. Bijayananda Mohapatra as Whole-time Director and COO from January 2025, and Mr. Saunak Gupta as CFO in March 2025. IMFA continues its focus on sustainability, operational excellence, and community development through its Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation, impacting over 2.5 million beneficiaries across 420 villages. The company maintains rigorous compliance and governance standards, with no major qualifications in statutory audits. Challenges include exposure to foreign exchange fluctuations and regulatory uncertainties in mining.
