Poonawalla Fincorp Limited — Results, 08-07-2025: Reply to Clarification- Financial results

Poonawalla Fincorp has clarified that it holds an investment in its joint venture Jaguar Advisory Services Private Limited (JASPL), which has been classified as “assets held for sale” since December 13, 2021, following board and shareholder approvals for divestment. As a result, the company has discontinued using the equity method for JASPL and has not included any share of profit or loss from this JV in its consolidated financial statements for the year ended March 31, 2025. This accounting treatment was referenced by the auditors in their report. The company reaffirmed its intention to divest this investment as of April 2025.
