Consolidated crude steel production reached 7.26 million tonnes in Q1 FY26, up 14% YoY but down 5% QoQ due to planned blast furnace maintenance. Post-shutdown, operations resumed at optimal capacity, with Indian capacity utilization at 87%. JSW Steel continues its expansion, targeting a consolidated capacity of 43.4 MTPA in three years. The company maintains strong sustainability goals, including a 42% CO2 reduction by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050.
