Isgec Heavy Engineering Ltd has announced a board meeting on which multiple key decisions were approved. Two seasoned professionals, Mr. Rajiv Roy Chaudhury and Mr. Vivek Dhir, were appointed as Non-executive, Independent Directors for five years, subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Kishore Chatnani and Mr. Sanjay Gulati were re-designated as Joint Managing Directors while retaining their current responsibilities. Mr. Kalyan Ghosh was appointed Compliance Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, succeeding Mr. Sachin Saluja, who resigned from the Compliance Officer role but remains Company Secretary. Senior management appointments include Mr. Subrata Roy as Chief Executive – APCE & Utility Boiler, and Mr. Rohit Garg as Unit Head – Steel Casting Factory. The board approved Rs.53.5 Cr capital investment to set up a factory for mechanical presses in Haryana, enhancing existing manufacturing capacity. A new committee was formed to explore options for organic and inorganic growth aiming to boost long-term shareholder value. Several policies, including Nomination and Remuneration, Insider Trading Code, and Materiality Determination were updated.
