Suzlon Energy Limited has announced a board meeting on allotment of 30.33 lakh equity shares to employees under its ESOP 2022, raising Rs.4.72 crore through exercise of stock options at varying premiums. The shares were allotted in three tranches with exercise prices ranging from Rs.5 to Rs.30 per share. Following this, the company’s paid-up equity capital stands at Rs.2,740.39 crore, divided into 1,370.19 crore shares of Rs.2 each. This share issuance reflects continued employee incentivization and strengthens capital base without dilution to public shareholders.
