Coastal Roadways Limited has announced a board meeting on 8th August 2025 to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company reported revenue growth with freight and services income of ₹41.00 crore versus ₹38.24 crore last year, aided by a significant expansion in its warehousing and supply chain segment which saw revenues increase to ₹9.66 crore from ₹6.54 crore. Although the freight segment faced margin pressure with a small loss, overall profit before tax stood at ₹2.08 crore, reflecting operational leverage from automation and improved asset utilization. The company has no plans for dividend payout to retain profits for growth. Coastal Roadways also voluntarily delisted from Calcutta Stock Exchange but remains listed on BSE. Key operational focuses include expansion in Grade-A warehousing, green logistics initiatives, and technology-enhanced fleet management. The company maintains a strong internal control environment, and all statutory compliances and audits including secretarial and internal financial controls reports were unqualified. Management retains confidence in the company’s going concern status amid ongoing industry challenges such as margin pressure and manpower retention.
