GAIL has announced a board meeting to discuss the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company signed a 15-year gas sale agreement with Oil India Limited to supply up to 900,000 SCMD of natural gas from Rajasthan fields, supporting Rajasthan’s state-run power plant. GAIL operates 16,421 km of pipelines, transmitting over 127 MMSCMD gas in FY25, and holds a 16.56 MMTPA LNG portfolio, covering 61% of India’s LNG imports. It continues to expand pipeline projects and renewable energy ventures in solar, wind, and biofuels.
