Andhra Paper has announced a board meeting to discuss the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Operations at its Rajahmundry manufacturing unit have been disrupted due to an illegal strike by workers demanding higher wages amid ongoing industrial tribunal proceedings. The strike has caused a daily production loss of approximately 520 MT. To protect employees, plant, and assets, management declared a lockout at the unit until further notice. All assets are insured, and no loss or damage is expected despite the operational halt. This disruption may impact near-term production and supply.
