Vishal Mega Mart Limited — Important, 11-07-2025: General Updates

Vishal Mega Mart’s subsidiary, Airplaza Retail Holdings, has been fined Rs. 2.15 lakh and Rs. 1.25 lakh by the Additional District Magistrate, Varanasi, for selling substandard third-party manufactured food products (“Loose Sugar” and “Saboodana”). The penalties will be recovered from the respective manufacturers. These fines have no material impact on Vishal Mega Mart’s operations or financials. The subsidiary is currently reviewing the orders and considering further action.
