Avenue Supermarts Limited — Updates, 11-07-2025: Press Release (Revised)

Avenue Supermarts has announced a board meeting on the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Standalone total revenue rose 16.2% to Rs.15,932 Cr, with PAT up 2.1% at Rs.830 Cr. EBITDA grew 7.6% but margins contracted due to competitive pricing and higher operating costs from wage inflation and service improvements. Same-store sales for stores older than two years increased 7.1%. Nine new stores were added, taking the total to 424 stores with a retail area of 17.6 million sq. ft. The company continues its EDLC-EDLP strategy amid intense FMCG competition.
