Oriana Power has secured a Letter of Award from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) for a significant project. The company will set up a 50 MW/100 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Karnataka under a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model. This project includes an expected Viability Gap Funding (VGF) of ₹27 Cr. The broad consideration for this contract is ₹212.32 Cr over a 12-year period. Execution is expected within 15 months from the Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement effective date. This strengthens Oriana Power's presence in India's clean energy sector.
