Oriana Power Limited — New Orders, 14-07-2025: Bagging/Receiving of orders/contracts

Oriana Power has secured a Letter of Award from KPTCL to set up a 50 MW/100 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Karnataka. This Build-Own-Operate (BOO) project aims to improve grid stability. The broad consideration for the contract is Rs. 212.31 Cr over 12 years, plus a Viability Gap Funding (VGF) of Rs. 27 Cr. Execution is expected within 15 months from the Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement effective date. This marks a significant milestone for the company in the energy storage sector.
