Sun Pharma has settled its litigation with Incyte Corporation regarding LEQSELVI™ (deuruxolitinib). Under the agreement, both parties will dismiss pending lawsuits and mutually release claims. Sun Pharma gains a limited, non-exclusive license from Incyte for specific non-hematology-oncology indications of oral deuruxolitinib, including alopecia areata, in the U.S. This strategic move allows Sun to commercialize LEQSELVI for these uses. Sun will make an upfront payment and ongoing royalty payments to Incyte until patent expiry. This clears a significant legal hurdle and expands Sun's market potential in dermatology.
