Bharat Electronics Limited has appointed Shri Kamesh Kasana as Director (Other Units). With over three decades of experience in defence electronics, Kasana, who joined BEL in 1993, has significantly contributed to indigenization and strategic growth. He successfully led major defence programs, helping secure and execute large orders worth several thousand crores, and achieved over ₹1000 crore turnover in his previous role. As Director, he envisions transforming BEL's units into centers of excellence by accelerating innovation, strengthening operational efficiency, and deepening collaborations. This appointment is expected to drive sustained growth and strengthen India’s defence ecosystem.
