GAIL has executed a long-term LNG Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Vitol Asia Pte. Ltd. for the annual supply of approximately 1 MMTPA of LNG. This 10-year agreement, commencing in 2026, significantly expands GAIL's long-term LNG portfolio. This strategic move aims to meet growing energy demand and reinforces GAIL's capability to serve its diverse customer base reliably. It aligns with India's national energy goals to boost natural gas's share in the energy mix to 15% by 2030, leveraging the country's rising LNG regasification capacity.
