Zydus Lifesciences has secured final USFDA approval for its Celecoxib Capsules (50, 100, 200, 400 mg), an NSAID treating pain and inflammation. This key approval targets a significant US market for Celecoxib, which recorded annual sales of about USD 122.6 million (~Rs 1,017 Cr). Production will occur at Zydus's Ahmedabad SEZ unit. This latest clearance brings Zydus’s total USFDA approvals to 428, building on its 492 ANDA filings, underscoring its expanding generics portfolio.
