Kalpataru Projects International's subsidiary, Wainganga Expressway Private Limited (WEPL), has terminated its concession agreement with National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) due to NHAI's contractual defaults. This action follows a prior arbitration award in WEPL's favor against NHAI for similar issues, which NHAI is challenging. NHAI had also claimed INR 351.46 Cr from WEPL, alleging defaults.
