ACME Solar Holdings secured significant Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreements with NHPC for 275 MW / 550 MWh projects in Andhra Pradesh. These two Standalone BESS projects, won via e-reverse auction, are contracted at INR 0.021 Cr/MW/month for 50MW/100MWh and INR 0.0222 Cr/MW/month for 225MW/450MWh. The projects benefit from a Viability Gap Funding scheme, receiving up to INR 0.0027 Cr per MWh or 30% of project cost. This pioneering "BESS as a service" model will enhance grid stability and renewable integration, with commissioning expected within 18 months. This bolsters ACME's 6,970 MW portfolio.
