Central Bank of India — Board Meeting, 19-07-2025: Outcome of Board Meeting

Central Bank of India has announced a board meeting. The Board approved the consolidated financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2025, reporting a net profit of ₹1,281.98 crore. An interim dividend of ₹0.20 per equity share (2% on ₹10 face value) for FY2025-26 was declared. The bank also made strategic moves by acquiring 25.18% in Future Generali India Life and 24.91% in Future Generali India Insurance, for ₹57 crore and ₹451 crore respectively, entering the insurance sector. Asset quality improved with Gross NPAs at 3.14% and Net NPAs at 0.50%. The Provision Coverage Ratio stands strong at 97.02%.
