NLCIL's JV, NUPPL, achieved a major milestone by successfully synchronizing Unit-2 (660 MW) of its 1,980 MW Ghatampur Thermal Power Project with the grid. This moves Unit-2 closer to Commercial Operation Declaration, significantly boosting power generation capacity. Unit-1 is already operational, with Unit-3 expected in FY25-26. This multi-state power supply project (1,487.28 MW to UP, 492.72 MW to Assam) underscores NLCIL's consistent project execution and expansion, promising future revenue streams.
