GHCL has secured a twenty-year lease renewal for its 171-hectare Khadsaliya Lignite Mines from the Gujarat government. This approval is key, transforming Khadsaliya into a composite mining operation. It will now encompass both primary Lignite and secondary mineral projects like Bentonite and Sand. This expansion aligns with a ₹950 Cr Memorandum of Understanding previously signed with the Gujarat government for secondary mineral sales, underscoring GHCL's commitment to resource optimization and sustainability.
