Purple Finance Limited's Board has approved the appointment of Mr. Sabyasachi Rath as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (ED and CEO), pending shareholder approval. This follows a review by the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and regulatory approval. Mr. Rath, a co-founder and the company's CEO since inception, brings extensive leadership experience from various banks. He has been pivotal in the company's growth, expanding operations to 40 branches, 350 employees across 6 states, and achieving an Assets Under Management (AUM) of INR 130 Cr. His appointment strengthens the leadership team.
