Shah Alloys Limited — Important, 21-07-2025: Closure of operations

Shah Alloys has approved the closure of its entire Iron & Steel Plant operations at Santej, Gujarat. This plant, which contributed 100% of the company's operational revenue and net worth, is expected to cease operations within approximately one month. The decision is driven by the plant's aging machinery and outdated technology, which has resulted in uncompetitive high production costs and continuous losses. In FY25, the plant generated Rs 267.28 Cr revenue but incurred a loss of Rs 27.29 Cr, with a net worth of Rs 40.30 Cr. The company will now explore new business opportunities.
