AGI Greenpac Limited — Important, 21-07-2025: Capacity addition

AGI Greenpac is diversifying into aluminum beverage can manufacturing with a new Uttar Pradesh facility, targeting 1.6 billion cans annual capacity. The initial phase, adding 950 million cans, is set for Q3 FY2027-28, with full capacity by March 2030. This Rs. 1000 Cr project, funded by debt/internal accruals, leverages AGI's packaging expertise. It aims to capitalize on India's growing eco-friendly packaging demand, diversify revenue, and strengthen market presence in liquid packaging.
