Tata Communications (TATACOMM) is partnering with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to establish a significant AI-ready network in India. This collaboration will build a high-capacity, resilient long-distance network connecting AWS's Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai infrastructure, supporting generative AI adoption and cloud innovation. This is one of TATACOMM's largest network deployments, offering 7.2 TB/s capacity over 18,000 km, crucial for AI/ML workloads. The project requires a capital investment of ~₹430 Cr, funded by internal accruals, and is slated for completion by FY2025-26.
