ONGC's board has announced key decisions. It approved the appointment of Shri Om Prakash Sinha as Director (Exploration) and M/s Agarwal S. & Associates as Secretarial Auditors for FY26-FY30, pending shareholder nod. The board also gave its assent to significant related-party transactions for its overseas arm, ONGC Videsh. These include receiving up to ₹5082.39 Cr from Mozambique projects, a ₹14,400 Cr asset transfer in Mozambique, and amending a USD 3072 Million guarantee. Additionally, there are cash call payments of ₹1170 Cr for FY26 and ₹1260 Cr for FY27 for South Sudan operations. These require shareholder approval.
