Shyam Metalics (SMEL) reported robust Q1 FY26 results, with revenue surging 22.4% YoY to Rs. 4,419 Cr. Operating EBITDA grew 18.8% to Rs. 580 Cr, and Profit After Tax increased 5.3% to Rs. 291 Cr. Overall volumes rose significantly by 32% YoY, underscoring strong operational performance. Notably, newly commissioned Pig Iron and color-coated plants achieved operational stabilization ahead of schedule, with the Pig Iron plant hitting 104% utilization, driving increased sales. An interim dividend of Rs. 1.80 per equity share was declared.
