Dalmia Bharat Limited — Important, 22-07-2025: Capacity addition

Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited, a Dalmia Bharat subsidiary, will invest Rs 3,287 Cr to expand capacity. This includes adding 3.6 MnT clinker and 6.0 MnT cement capacity at Kadapa, plus a 3.0 MnT bulk terminal at Chennai. Funded by debt and internal accruals, the expansion aims to serve underserved markets in Northern Tamil Nadu and strengthen presence in Andhra Pradesh and Southern Karnataka, where existing facilities are highly utilized. The project is expected to be completed by Q2 FY28, boosting DCBL's total cement capacity to 61.5 MnT.
