Sigachi Industries has initiated interim compensation disbursal to families affected by the Pashamylaram unit incident. The company has committed ₹5.80 Cr for death compensation, including payments to deceased and unaccounted team members' families. Additionally, ₹1 lakh each (totaling ₹0.25 Cr) was extended to 25 injured employees, with full medical expenses covered. An internal task force is now overseeing relief and compliance. Sigachi is also collaborating with an external safety review committee to enhance safety protocols across facilities, prioritizing employee welfare.
