Lupin Limited — Updates, 24-07-2025: Press Release

Lupin has secured US FDA approvals for two key injectable products: Liraglutide Injection and Glucagon for Injection vials. Liraglutide, bioequivalent to Victoza®, targets Type 2 diabetes with estimated annual US sales of USD 458 million. Glucagon, for severe hypoglycemia and diagnostic use, had estimated annual US sales of USD 124 million. Both will be manufactured at Lupin’s Nagpur facility. These approvals significantly enhance Lupin's portfolio, expanding access to critical therapies and boosting its US market presence in complex injectables, a positive development for future revenue streams.
