Coromandel International Limited — Important, 24-07-2025: Capacity addition

Coromandel has approved a Rs 137 Cr capital expenditure for a new 3888 MTPD bagging plant at Kakinada, supporting its granulation capacity expansion. Expected to be completed within 18 months, this in-house facility will reduce operational costs, streamline logistics with a dedicated railway platform, and improve oversight. This strategic investment, funded by internal accruals and external financing, is set to provide significant long-term benefits by moving away from outsourced bagging activities.
