Adani Enterprises (AEL) has partnered with MetTube to strengthen India's copper tube business. AEL will divest 50% of Kutch Copper Tubes Ltd (KCTL), making it a 50:50 joint venture with MetTube. Concurrently, AEL will acquire 50% of MetTube Copper India Pvt Ltd (MCIPL), forming another 50:50 joint venture. This strategic alliance leverages Adani's infrastructure and existing copper facilities with MetTube's global manufacturing expertise. The goal is to expand domestic production, reduce import dependence, and cater to surging demand in HVAC, renewable energy, and smart construction sectors.
