Dixon Technologies has secured approval to form a joint venture with Longcheer Intelligence Pte. Ltd. This strategic partnership, where Dixon will hold 74% and Longcheer 26% in Dixtel Infocom, is set to significantly enhance Dixon's capabilities. The JV will focus on manufacturing and supplying smart devices like phones, tablets, smartwatches, and AI PCs, along with automotive and healthcare electronics. This collaboration will bring crucial Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) expertise, allowing Dixon to develop in-house design capabilities for mobile phones and IoT products. It also aims to localize non-semiconductor component manufacturing in India, strengthening domestic supply chains. This is a key growth driver.
