Lloyds Engineering Works (LEWL) has expanded its strategic partnership with Italy's FINCANTIERI S.p.A., a leading shipbuilding group. This collaboration adds crucial marine propulsion systems, Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP) and Shafting Systems, to LEWL's defence and marine lineup. LEWL will now indigenously manufacture these advanced systems, traditionally imported, significantly boosting India's naval self-sufficiency and the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' initiative. The move enhances LEWL's capabilities and market position. With a defence order book exceeding Rs 100 Cr for FY25, this alliance is set to drive long-term revenue growth.
