Steel Authority of India Limited — Board Meeting, 25-07-2025: Outcome of Board Meeting

SAIL's Board has approved the financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The company posted a consolidated Net Profit of ₹744.58 Cr, a sharp increase from ₹81.78 Cr in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations also grew to ₹25,921.76 Cr.

Operationally, crude steel production hit 4.85 Mn Tonne and sales volume reached 4.55 Mn Tonne. Management highlighted improved operational efficiency, strong domestic sales, and cost optimization efforts. Auditors noted certain contingent liabilities regarding entry tax and DVC advances, and that the Board currently lacks the required number of Independent Directors.
