National Fertilizers Limited — JV/Acquisition, 26-07-2025: Acquisition

National Fertilizers (NFL) is expanding its reach by forming a Joint Venture, Assam Valley Fertilizer And Chemical Company Limited (AVFCCL). NFL has invested Rs. 1.8 Lakh, securing an 18% stake in the newly incorporated company. This strategic partnership, involving the Government of Assam, Oil India Limited, and other key players, is focused on setting up a new Ammonia-Urea Complex (Namrup IV Fertilizer Plant) in Assam. This move strengthens NFL's position in the fertilizer industry and marks a significant long-term operational expansion, with commissioning expected in about four years.
