Tata Consumer Products' Q1 FY'26 revenue grew 10% to INR 4,779 Cr. India's core tea and salt businesses saw strong double-digit value/volume gains. Consolidated EBITDA was down 8% due to higher tea costs and falling coffee prices, impacting Non-branded segment margins. PAT rose 10%.
Growth businesses, including NourishCo, Capital Foods, and Organic India, grew 7%, below expectations due to temporary supply chain hiccups and early monsoon impact. Management expects these issues to resolve, targeting over 30% growth from Q2 for these segments. Tea margins are anticipated to normalize by Q3 as commodity prices ease. The company remains confident, focusing on innovation and expanding distribution.
