Deepak Mining Solutions Limited (DMSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary, has revised the estimated cost of its Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) Project, Gopalpur, to ₹2,675 Crores from an earlier ₹2,223 Crores. This increase stems from geopolitical issues impacting material, manpower, and construction costs, currency fluctuations, and investments in safety/efficiency and environmental systems. Despite the rise, the company asserts project financial metrics remain robust with IRR above internal benchmarks. With over 90% execution completed, further cost revisions are deemed unlikely, promising significant long-term value.
