Simmonds Marshall Limited has issued a notice regarding the transfer of unclaimed dividends and associated equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). Dividends from the financial year 2017-18, remaining unclaimed for seven years, along with their corresponding shares, will be transferred to the IEPF demat account by November 1, 2025. Shareholders holding physical shares will have their original certificates cancelled, with new ones issued to IEPF. For electronic shares, the company will facilitate transfer. Shareholders must submit valid claims by October 25, 2025, to prevent this transfer. Affected investors can claim these assets directly from the IEPF authority post-transfer.
