GAIL (India) has formed a 50:50 Joint Venture with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL). This strategic partnership aims to establish approximately 750 MW of solar and 250 MW of wind power projects in Rajasthan. The JV also involves the potential transfer of RVUNL's existing 330 MW and/or 270.5 MW gas-based power plants to the new entity, pending GAIL's due diligence.
