KPEL has divested its entire 51% stake in Evergreen Mahuva Windfarms (EMWPL), a Special Purpose Vehicle for a 30MW wind power project. The company successfully commissioned the project directly, rendering the SPV structure unnecessary. EMWPL had not commenced any operations, so this disinvestment streamlines KPEL's corporate structure with negligible financial impact. KPEL received Rs. 0.051 Cr from the share transfer, and EMWPL is no longer a subsidiary. This reflects an operational simplification.
