Aster DM Healthcare announced two key developments. The company is increasing its stake in subsidiary DRCM by acquiring an additional 13% for 63.01 Cr, raising its ownership to 70.49%. DRCM reported a FY25 turnover of 258.00 Cr and profit of 12.82 Cr. This acquisition is expected within 1-2 months. Additionally, Aster will lease a property in Yeshwanthpur, Bengaluru, for a new 500-bed super-specialty hospital. This expansion, strategically located, will cost an estimated 580 Cr, funded by bank loans and internal accruals, with completion aimed for H2 FY28-29.
