The National Company Law Tribunal has admitted Punjab and Sind Bank's insolvency plea against Diksha Greens Limited, initiating the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP). The bank had extended credit facilities of ₹22.45 Cr, which the company defaulted on, leading to outstanding dues of ₹46.91 Cr by September 2024. Despite the company's arguments about a fire incident and unfinalized restructuring, the tribunal found clear evidence of debt and default. An Interim Resolution Professional has been appointed, and a moratorium is now in effect, pausing all legal actions against the company and restricting asset transfers. This aims to revive the company or liquidate its assets for creditors.
