Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) has announced the appointment of Mr. Ashish Chatterjee as a Government Nominee Director, effective July 25. He replaces Ms. Nirupama Kotru, whose contributions were acknowledged. Following a review by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the board approved this change. Mr. Chatterjee, a senior civil servant with over 25 years of administrative experience, is currently Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Steel. He has also been inducted into the Audit and Risk Management Committee. This appointment brings valuable government and industry expertise to HZL's board and its key committees.
