Birla Corporation reported strong June quarter financials. Revenue rose 13% to Rs 2,486 Cr, with net profit surging 264% to Rs 120 Cr. EBITDA grew 38% to Rs 379 Cr, driven by improved cement sales and cost efficiency. Cement volumes were up 9%, benefiting from a strategic focus on premium products (58% of trade sales) and strong growth in western and eastern markets. Despite monsoon impacts and central India price pressures, cement EBITDA per ton improved to Rs 715. The Jute Division also saw a significant turnaround, posting a Rs 6.4 Cr cash profit.
