Deccan Gold has secured exploration rights over approximately 1,000 square kilometers of tenements in Mozambique, targeting copper, gold, and other base metals. This strategic expansion significantly enhances the company's critical minerals portfolio. To facilitate this, Deccan Gold, through its Dubai subsidiary, established Deccan Mineracao Mozambique LDA (DMMOZ) to focus on these projects, holding a 90% stake in the new entity. This move allows the company to tap into Mozambique's largely unexplored, prospective Tete Complex, positioning Deccan Gold for future growth in securing critical mineral supply.
